I feel like we are taking this for granted folks. Bradley Beal has been an absolute monster in Washington. Why don't we talk enough about this. The guy is an absolute nightmare for opposing NBA teams to deal with. It's unfortunate that the Wizards haven't been able to turn Beal's play as of late into wins, because the guy is a special talent. If you don't remember, Beal was a monster last year as well. He went on to finish the 2019-20 season averaging 30.5 PPG, as well as 4.2 REB and 6.1 AST.
Beal has been on the warpath so far this year as well and it shouldn't come as a surprise to basketball fans. In 8 games, the sharpshooting guard is averaging 34.3 PTS, 5.3 REB, and 4.8 AST while shooting 47.9% from the field. This includes last night, in which Bradley Beal put up a 60 point night with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The most impressive part of Beal's performance was his ability to single-handedly bring his team back into the game. Beal actually would have 57 points heading into the 4th quarter. Yes, you read that correctly. Beal had FOURTY SEVEN POINTS HEADING INTO THE LAST QUARTER. Surely, we are all a bit bummed that Beal didn't go berzerk in the 4th, but Beal and the Wizards found themselves crawling back into this one. Washington will find itself taking on the Boston Celtics on Friday, who has been playing at a high level as of late.
