Recap: Toronto vs Orlando (G3)

Toronto Raptors

Orlando Magic

  • Orlando ended up with the loss tonight but I'll tell you what, this team is heading in the right direction. This one was a dog fight till the end, and the Magic's young team hasn't made things easy for the Raptors.
  • A fantastic game overall from Raptors rising star Pascal Siakam. A hopeful for the NBA's Most Improved Player award, Siakam scored 30 points tonight on 13 of 20 shooting, including 3 of 4 from downtown. Siakam also added 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
  • Shaky shooting night for Kawhi Leonard (5/19 from the floor) but still managed to finish the game with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Nice typical Kyle Lowry box score as well. Lowry finished with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 assists.
  • Nice bounce-back performance from Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic who finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds as well as 6 assists.
  • Terrence Ross continues to be a great weapon for Orlando off of the bench. Ended up tonight with 24 points in 31 minutes of action.

What Did We Learn

Not much different from Game 2. Toronto starting to get their swagger back and Orlando looks like a team on the rise for the future.
