Toronto Raptors

  • What a surprise...Another great performance from Raptors star Forward Kawhi Leonard. The "Klaw" finished this one with 27 points (8/11 FG, 5/5 3P), 7 rebounds, and 2 assists in 31 minutes.

  • This one got ugly QUICKLY. At one point in the 1st quarter, the Raptors were leading 28-7.
  • Kyle Lowry set the tone early for the Raptors, scoring the Raptors first 9 points of the game. Lowry would finish the 1st quarter with 12 PTS (5/6 FG), 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 9 minutes. Lowry played the "facilitator" role for the remainder of the game, finishing with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists.
  • Another statement performance for rising star Pascal Siakam who finished this one with 24 points (8/16 FG).
  • Orlando struggled shooting in this one, finishing 32/83 (38%) for the game including 9/34 (26%) from downtown.
  • Incredible season for Orlando who NONE of us had predicted to make it to the playoffs this year. Bright future for the organization moving forward.
  • Toronto wins the series and will now face the Philadelphia 76ers in a juicy 2nd round matchup.

What Did We Learn

Toronto is firing on all cylinders and it seems as if we aren't giving the Raptors enough respect. This might be the best Raptors team in franchise history. Orlando will be back and we hope they have themselves a great offseason.
