Recap: Bucks vs Magic (G4)

Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic, Game 4
Game Score
Milwaukee Bucks

Orlando Magic

Although the Milwaukee Bucks have "struggled" to look like the team that was a well-oiled machine before the NBA hiatus...Giannis has definitely looked impressive during this series. Another strong outing for the potential back-to-back league MVP as Giannis would finish this one with 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 assists.

It's been one of the more confusing developments when it comes to the NBA Playoffs this year. Middleton had been absolutely fantastic during the regular season and was putting up some incredibly productive numbers as the Bucks number two option. It was a bit of a breakout game for Middleton in Game 4 who finally seemed to get in a groove. It was reported after the game that Giannis had told Middleton to "Shoot until your arms fall off." Middleton listened, and would score 18 of his 21 points in the 4th quarter alone.

While it's been a serious uphill battle for the Orlando Magic in this series, there has been some intriguing developments. Nikola Vucevic has been dominant in this series for the Magic. In 4 games, Nikola is averaging 29.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while shooting 54.7% from the field. On the other hand, I've personally been impressed with the play with Markelle Fultz. You can see that Fultz is still a work in progress when it comes to his outside game, as expected, but there's some confidence in his game now that has been lacking over the recent years. Another offseason for Fultz in which he continues to grind on his outside shooting, could do wonders and make him a sleeper candidate for Most Improved Player next year. In the series against the Bucks, Fultz has averaged 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 39.1% from the field and 45.5% from three.

What Did We Learn

Milwaukee still looks a bit off...but they have another game in this series before a date with the Miami Heat in the second round (no offense Magic fans).
