PLAYERS RETURN TO ACTION AFTER "BOYCOTT"
After initially making the news the other day for their decision to "boycott" Game 5 in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake, the Magic and Bucks finally resumed to action today after players agreed to continue forward with the NBA Playoffs. The impact of the Bucks (and Magic) decision was felt across the country, as a number of various professional sport teams also made a stand and refused to play in a variety of aspects.
GIANNIS AND MIDDLETON GO TO WORK
It's been no secret that Giannis has continued to look like his usual self throughout this opening round series. Giannis finished this one with 28 points and 17 rebounds for the Bucks in their closeout game. A notable development, has been the play of Khris Middleton over the last couple of games. After starting out slowly in this series, Middleton has started to look more like himself. This, of course, is an extremely encouraging development for Bucks fans, as they are now set to face a talented Miami Heat team in the second round of the playoffs. Middleton would finish game 5 with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
VUCEVIC FINISHES UP A GREAT SERIES
Although the Orlando Magic faced an uphill battle in this series against the Bucks, there's still plenty to like about this team moving forward. All-star big man Nikola Vucevic, who has been fantastic in this series, impressed again. Vucevic would finish this one with 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Magic.
Milwaukee moves on, as expected in this series, and Khris Middleton looks like he's starting to heat up. A date with the Miami Heat awaits the bucks in a juicy second round matchup.
