NUGGETS STOP LAKERS RALLY
After suffering a heartbreaking loss in Game 2 after Lakers forward Anthony Davis hit a game-winner as time expired, the Denver Nuggets didn't want to leave this one up to any chance. Denver came out blazing in this one, and would go on to lead by as many 20 in the fourth quarter. But then the Lakers came roaring. The Lakers would go on to give Denver a run for their money, going on a 19-2 run in the 4th quarter to give the Nuggets a scare. Denver would go on to regain momentum and secure the win, making the series a 2-1 lead by the Lakers instead of a catastrophic 3-0 deficit.
JERAMI GRANT CATCHES FIRE
Although the Nuggets had great production from their stars in this one including Nikola Jokic (22 points, 10 rebounds) and Jamal Murray (28 points, 12 assists) another player was the start of Game 3. Jerami Grant was spectacular for the Nuggets in Game 3, finishing the game with a playoff career-high 26 points for Denver. Grant would finish 7 for 11 from the field and 10 for 12 from the free throw line.
Denver isn't going to give up easily. Massive performance from Jerami Grant (26 PTS) in this one. Denver has life.
